The weather in the UP is always unpredictable, but generally Mid August is some of the most pleasant weather of the year.

Camp-In Location

This Google Map shows the remote location of Camp-In 2011.

Located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan you will be able to camp the way our Grandfathers camped.

This is NOT a commercial campsite or State Park, it’s a massive 7000+ acre Private Hunting Preserve that we have access to for the event.

The lodge is teeming with game from Whitetail Deer to the occasional bear. At night you will probably hear the local coyotes howling and perhaps even the wolf pack that wanders the area.

Provisions are available at the grocery store in nearby Carney.  Escanaba is about a 40 minute drive where you can find a Walmart if you need to do more substantial shopping.

RVs are welcome but there are NO hookups.

You are responsible for your own garbage, what you bring in you must take out.

We look forward to seeing you there.
